Kizuna Rank

Kizuna Rank represents the bonds between pairs of characters. By playing lives, characters in the "leader" slot gain Kizuna Rank EXP with everyone else in the party. By leveling up Kizuna Ranks, players will earn fragments of feelings, crystals, large live bonus drinks, and new titles.

Currently, certain pairings of characters have a Kizuna Rank. In addition, the maximum rank of a Kizuna Rank is equal to the lowest Character Rank between the two characters.

Viewing Kizuna Ranks[edit | edit source]

The Kizuna Rank page can be found by tapping on the "Kizuna Rank" option in the Character Rank menu. To view Kizuna Ranks:

On home screen, tap on the button labeled "メンバー", this should open up the member menu
Tap on the button labeled "キャラクターランク", this should open up the character rank menu
Tap on the button labeled "Kizuna Rank"
Tap on the first character in the Kizuna pair
Tap on the second character in the Kizuna pair

Leveling up Kizuna Ranks[edit | edit source]

To level up a Kizuna Rank, the player needs to farm Kizuna Rank EXP by playing lives. The amount of EXP gained per live is dependent on three things:

Song score rank
Number of live bonuses expended
The position of a card in the party

The following formula is used to calculate the EXP gained for a Kizuna Rank: $m_{score}\times m_{bonus}\times m_{position}$ , where m_score is the score rank multiplier, m_bonus is the live bonus multiplier, and m_position is the multiplier based on the position of the card in the party. Characters in the "sub leader" position gain 10x the amount of EXP. The "sub leader" position is the 2nd position in the party and is denoted with "サブリーダー".

For example, suppose a player scores an "S" rank in a live and is using 1 live bonus and is using the following characters in a team:

Hoshino Ichika (leader)
Hatsune Miku (sub leader)
Tenma Saki
Mochizuki Honami
Hinomori Shiho

Then in this scenario,

$15\times 5\times 10=750$ EXP is gained towards the Ichika with Miku Kizuna Rank, and
$15\times 5=75$ EXP is gained towards the Ichika with Saki, Honami, and Shiho Kizuna Ranks.

Using the formula above, the maximum amount of EXP gained per live for a Kizuna pair is calculated to be $15\times 25\times 10=3750$ .
