Project SEKAI Champsionship 2022 Spring is an official tournament held on April 30, 2022 in the suburbs of Tokyo. It is organized by SEGA, the publisher, and Colorful Palette, the developer of Project SEKAI COLORFUL STAGE!. This tournament uses a single-elimination format and consists of 8 teams, each with 3 members. The winning team takes home the grand prize of 1 million yen, while the runner up receives 300,000 yen.
To reach the main event, players had to go through 2 rounds of qualifiers. These qualifiers were held online in the months of February and March.
The main event, while in-person in Tokyo, can be viewed by anyone online through the YouTube and Twitter livestreams.
