Vivid BAD SQUAD is a unit of street musicians.

Background

One day, Azusawa Kohane stumbles upon a jam session being hosted by Shiraishi An and her friends. Captivated by their music, Kohane decides to become a street musician as well.

Sekai

Their Sekai is an alleyway world with walls covered in graffiti and concert posters.

In this Sekai, MEIKO owns a street cafe. Together with her helpers DJ Kagamine Len and Hatsune Miku, she gives advice to Kohane and her friends.

Trivia

Vivid BAD SQUAD is the only group with three initial virtual singers.
- Despite being introduced with three virtual singers, Kagamine Rin also makes her appearance in Vivid BAD SQUAD's Sekai - being mentioned in the main story and getting a Vivid BAD SQUAD support unit 4☆.
- Megurine Luka appeared in An's 2021 birthday live, and featured on multiple Sekai versions of Vivid BAD SQUAD songs, before officially appearing in the Same Dreams, Same Colors event story.
In the game files, Vivid BAD SQUAD is referred to as Street.
Both MORE MORE JUMP! and Vivid BAD SQUAD share the same base character colors, but in different tones:
- Kohane and Airi
- An and Shizuku
- Akito and Minori
- Toya and Haruka
