Hinomori Shiho (日野森 志歩) is a second-year student at Miyamasuzaka Girls Academy. She's the bassist of Leo/need .

She's childhood friends with her fellow band members.

Character Bio

"Leo/need's bassist. Shiho needs her space and dislikes clingy people. She tends to get totally absorbed in her hobbies and doesn't care what others might think of her. She used to be very close with her band members until something happened that caused a rift in their relationship."

Background

Shiho used to be childhood friends with Hoshino Ichika, Tenma Saki and Mochizuki Honami. Because of an incident at the school, their relationship became strained.

Appearance

Shiho has green eyes and short gray hair.

Original

Her band uniform consisted of a white blouse with a red striped ribbon, a cropped neon green jersey which has purple and white stripes on its right sleeve, along with a black pleated skirt with neon green accents. She also wore a black fingerless glove on her left hand and had black sneakers.

Her casual outfit consisted of a dark green big hoodie with with yellow text in the middle saying "Everything [487] Started From here.", white socks and black and white sneakers.

Her school outfit was the standard Miyamasuzaka Girls Academy uniform, a light gray tailor uniform with a red neckerchief. Over it she wore a black unzipped hoodie.

Brand New World

Shiho has three outfits as of Brand New World.

Her unit outfit consists of a white blouse under a grey jacket with green accents. She wears a black skirt with green accents, and a red, white, and black striped tie. She also wears black leather bracelets, a green belt, and black combat boots.

Her casual outfit consists of a white pullover hoodie with a large "4" graphic and brown shorts, layered under a blue and tan jacket.

Her school outfit is the standard Miyamasuzaka Girls Academy uniform with a bigger olive green hoodie layered on top.

Personality

Shiho is very introverted and dislikes interacting with others. She immerses herself in things she likes and doesn't care what other people think. Despite this, she used to spend lots of time with her childhood friends and cared for them deeply. In Leo/Need’s main story, it is shown that her classmates thought she was rude and cold, which led them to spreading rumours about her. They also began talking bad about Ichika because she was friends with Shiho, which led Shiho to distancing herself from Ichika.

Shiho is also the one who confronts Honami when she was the reason that Saki was crying.

Despite Shiho’s seemingly aloof demeanor, she likes cute things too, such as animals and her virtual pet care game. She gets embarrassed when people find out about this though.

Relationships

• Hoshino Ichika: One of Shiho's childhood friends and bandmates. Their relationship became strained before Saki's return in the main story, with Shiho purposefully keeping Ichika at a distance. Their relationship has greatly improved since then and Ichika appreciates Shiho's support and guidance, whilst Shiho is grateful for Ichika and admires her improvement.
• Tenma Saki: One of Shiho's childhood friends, bandmates and classmate in Shiho's second year. Their relationship became strained before Saki's return in the main story, with Saki still wanting to be friends with Shiho - whilst Shiho had wished she would just leave her alone.
• Mochizuki Honami: One of Shiho's childhood friends and bandmates. Their relationship became strained before Saki's return in the main story, with the both of them feeling awkward around the other and avoiding eachother. Their relationship has greatly improved since then, with Shiho trusting Honami and viewing her as a necessary pillar for the band whilst Honami is thankful for Shiho's guidance and how she doesn't waver or sugar-coat critiques.
• Hanasato Minori: Friends and classmates during Shiho's first year. Minori helped Shiho with becoming more open, and getting along with their other classmates more. She officially introduced her and Kohane.
• Hinomori Shizuku: Shiho's older sister. Whilst Shiho cares for and greatly appreciates Shizuku she wishes she wouldn't dote on her as much as she does.
• Azusawa Kohane: Friends and classmates during Shiho's first year. Whilst she knew of Shiho due to them being in the same class, but they didn't start hanging out until Minori introduced the two properly.
• Shiraishi An: Friends who met by chance on Vivid Street when Shiho heard An's singing.
• Otori Emu: Friends and classmates during Shiho's second year.

Trivia

• Shiho really likes animals and has a virtual pet care game. She gets embarrassed if people find out about this.
• Shiho is a big fan of the Phoenix Wonderland mascot, Phenny, and has a Phenny plush collection.
