Side Stories are stories unlockable through owned cards. They come in two parts and cost attribute pieces and attribute gems matching the cards attribute type.
Reading these stories also boost the cards overall power and rewards the player with crystals. 25 crystals for reading any of the first Side Stories, 50 crystals for reading any of the second Side Stories. Rarity does not affect the number of crystals rewarded upon reading completion.
