Chapter 1[edit | edit source]
Mafuyu comes back home from cram school, and greets her mother, who tells her that she'll be looking forward to her high score. In Nightcord, Mizuki tells everyone that they have passes to Phoenix Wonderland for everyone, but Mafuyu can't go due to having to study.
Chapter 2[edit | edit source]
When Mafuyu leaves for school, her mother decides to clean her room and she finds Mafuyu's synthesizer. When Mafuyu gets home, her mother asks her if she was hiding anything and decides to throw it away. When the junk removers arrive the next day, Mafuyu saves her synthesizer and is able to convince her mother to let her keep it, but then gets guilt-tripped by her and gives it to her mother anyways, to her dismay.
Chapter 3[edit | edit source]
Mafuyu arrives in the sekai, and she and the rest of Niigo meet a very shy Len. Kanade and Miku notice that something is wrong with Mafuyu, and she tells them what happened with her synthesizer.
Chapter 4[edit | edit source]
The rest of Niigo get Mafuyu to talk about her mother, and Ena says that what Mafuyu's mother is not right. This makes Mafuyu feel troubled, and Mizuki changes the topic to welcoming Len. Mafuyu says that she needs to study and leaves, but before that Kanade tells her to not be too hard on herself and Mizuki says that she doesn't always have to listen to her parents. Mafuyu thanks them and leaves, and everyone worries about Mafuyu and what they can do to help.
