Chapter 1: STAY GOLD[edit | edit source]
An, Kohane, Akito, and Toya discuss what events to enter under their new identity as Vivid BAD SQUAD. They decide to enter STAY GOLDEN, a competitive event, which worries Kohane. An assures her that she'll cover for her if anything goes wrong.
Chapter 2: Missing Voice[edit | edit source]
The day of STAY GOLDEN, the venue is packed. Vivid BAD SQUAD performs and blows the crowd away, but the volume of the crowd causes Kohane to lose the other members' voices and miss her cue. An tries to pick up her slack, but the performance falls apart.
Chapter 3: Dissonance[edit | edit source]
An laments how she failed to help Kohane during the performance. Akito tells her that she doesn't see Kohane as a true member of the team, and has babying her and treating her like she can't perform without her help. An is distraught, realizing that she's never treated Kohane as an equal.
Chapter 4: Defeat[edit | edit source]
An attempts to apologize to Kohane, but she brushes her off. The results are announced and Vivid BAD SQUAD loses to a group called EVER. As the group heads their separate ways for the night, An runs into her childhood friend Haruka, who listens to her plight.
Chapter 5: A Friend's Advice[edit | edit source]
Haruka advises An to have a heart-to-heart with Kohane. An reminisces on her first meeting with Kohane, realizing that she enjoyed having Kohane rely on her, and wishing that she simply believed in her and helped her grow.
Chapter 6: Fellow Beginner[edit | edit source]
The next day, Kohane feels miserable about her failure at STAY GOLDEN. Minori notices, empathizing with her position as a newbie in her group. She encourages Kohane to see the other members as mentors that can be relied on for advice and support.
Toya worries for An, but Akito assures him that she's strong and can resolve the issue on her own.
Chapter 7: One Small Step[edit | edit source]
Kohane decides to go to the Street SEKAI to ask for MEIKO's advice. Toya arrives shortly after, and Kohane asks him what she should be improving on. He tells her that practice can only take you so far, and it's performances that make you better as a performer.
Chapter 8: Becoming Teammates[edit | edit source]
An thanks Akito for helping her realize how she was treating Kohane. She apologizes to Kohane, telling her that she wants to be her equal and her partner. Kohane reciprocates her feelings, assuring An that she'll work hard to improve and stand on her level. An asks Kohane to cover for her if she misses a cue at their next event, and Kohane happily agrees.
