The Update Notes 1.12.0 details new feature additions, Kizuna Rank, and extended functionalities for existing features, the Friend List, Virtual Live, Auto Live, Custom Profile. Character ranks and character rank missions are updated. New titles are also added.
The following is a translation of the notes by Project Sekai ENG's thread. The original can be found here.
Kizuna Rank[edit | edit source]
The Kizuna Rank feature is a feature that allows you to increase the "Kizuna Rank" (bonds) between your favorite characters by playing lives.
- At the time of the implementation, the only character combinations you can raise the bonds with are:
- Members of the same unit (including with initial Sekai VIRTUAL SINGER members of that unit)
- VIRTUAL SINGER members
- More character combinations will be added in the future (irregularly)
- When you play lives with the unit you choose, you can earn Kizuna EXP with the character you set as the leader. When you've accumulated enough EXP, the Kizuna Rank will increase
- A new slot called "Sub leader" will be added in the team organization screen. Characters set in that slot will earn more Kizuna EXP than characters set in the other slots.
- You will get various rewards from raising Kizuna Ranks such as: fragments of feelings, voices during lives, special titles that you can only get via Kizuna Rank, and more.
- In addition, the titles you get from raising Kizuna Ranks will be special titles that you can customize (such as character's placement, title name, and frame.)
Invitation system to invite friends to play multi lives and watch virtual lives together[edit | edit source]
- The Friend List system will be updated so that you'll be able to invite the friends from your list to play multi lives together or watch virtual lives together.
- You'll be notified when you get an invitation from someone and you can just immediately choose whether to join or not.
- With the implementation of the invitation system, you will also now be able to check the online status of friends in your friend list.
- There will also be options to show/hide your online status.
UI updates for Virtual Live[edit | edit source]
The UI for Virtual Live will be revamped from the ground up with a brand new design to make player's virtual live experiences more comfortable and won't interfere with players' live viewing experience as much as possible. In addition, the ability to move the UI while it's hidden will also be improved.
Continuous Auto Live[edit | edit source]
- You will now be able to play Auto Lives continuously without having to manually refill your live bonus or manually pressing play every time.
- Other than allowing you to specify the number of times you want to do auto lives, a feature that will allow the game to automatically use live bonus drinks and crystals to continue doing auto lives when you run out of live bonuses will be implemented.
- Another feature will be the option that allows you to refill as much live bonuses as you want (1-99; usually you can only recover 5 at a time, which requires you to keep tapping refill manually).
- The score calculation for Auto Live will also be adjusted so that the score earned per note will increase.
Custom Profile updates[edit | edit source]
- New items called "Collection" materials will be added. These will act as items you can use to decorate your custom profile. You will also be able to use multiple materials at the same time, as many as you have in your possession.
- Collection materials will be available for purchase in the game in various ways.
- The first sets of collection materials will be sold at the "Sekai Shrine" during New Year's. You can find this shrine at the Virtual Live Waiting Lobby. They will be: Sekai Shrine's Omikuji, Ema, and Omamori.
- The other update will be the ability to place/create multiple text boxes.
