- According to marasy, the title is read as "Hachijuuhachi" (はちじゅうはち).[1]
- 88 is the number of keys that are in a classic piano.
- 88 is also the number of the constellation (that are recognized by the International Astronomical Union).
- The official account stated the song as "the melody that is tinged with the starlight——no matter where,"[2] which corresponds with Tsukasa's card name, "Star Melody."
- The "☆彡" in the song title is supposed to be shooting star emoji.
