Wonderlands×Showtime is a musical show unit.

Background

At some point, Tenma Tsukasa was hired to work part-time at a theme park, but the Phoenix Wonderland Stage he got assigned to drew no customers. Soon after, he met Otori Emu, who wants to restore the stage to its former glory.

Sekai

The Wonderland Sekai is a theme park world created from Tsukasa's true feelings, filled with fantasty elements, like singing flowers, walking stuffed animals, and flying rides. Troupe leader KAITO and his helper Miku put on shows each day for the stuffed animals to enjoy.

Visitors enter in the main plaza of the theme park, which has a view of the ferris wheel, a flying train, a floating merry-go-round, a perpetual Aurora Borealis, pink clouds, and the main circus tent. Within the main tent is a stage surrounded by rows of seats, where KAITO's troupe puts on shows each day.

One of the sentient plushies found in the Sekai is a direct copy of a bunny plushie Saki owned in childhood, that Tsukasa would often use when he play-acted shows. The elements within the Sekai often shift to mirror Tsukasa's true feelings - the singing flowers sing a song familiar to him, the plushies have arguments that mirror conflicts in Tsukasa's life, and so on.

Music

The music designated to WonderlandxShowtime in-game is usually upbeat and theatrical, sometimes containing a storyline. Their dance performances in live shows and 3D MVs are bombastic, character-driven, and draw inspiration from musical theater.

In-universe, the four members perform original music written by Tsukasa as a part of their shows at the Wonder Stage. All four members provide vocals for WonderlandxShowtime's shows.

• Despite being introduced with 2 Virtual Singers, Kagamine Len also makes his appearance in WonderlandsxShowtime's Sekai.
